Based in London, I am a maker working primarily with metal casting, fabrication, drawing and image making, as a part of an investigative practice. Using materials and invented techniques to; make, wrestle, and examine, with the desire to understand a little better.
Work statement
A poetic discovery of the hidden.
Interrogations of inheritance and manifestations of hope. An unraveling ideas, beliefs, boundaries, monsters and the self. A forensic inspection of the minutia, that which constitutes the fabric of our legacies.
I test the ramshackle fences that constitute our boundaries. Aspiring for transcendence over distance, dislocation over restraint. I make art work that is an invocation, intent and desire are held in the materials and construction. An alchemy of transformation. To relocate myself and find a geography that is not dictated by the grid.
